On September 13, 2022, Chairperson Masafumi Shukuri (Mr.) visited WMU with Senior Researcher Setsuo Nomura (Mr.). They met President Cleopatra Doumbia-Henry (Dr.) online, and Vice President Shu Ma (Dr.) and Professor George Theocharidis (Dr.) face-to face. Regarding the partnership agreement between the two organizations, which is in its third term, we agreed to consider a next action so as to resume collaborative activities after the pandemic. Mr. Shukuri and Mr. Nomura also visited the WMU-Sasakawa Global Ocean Research Institute.
